1. Descriptions, Prices and Information

 

When adding products to our website, we take care to describe and display items as accurately as possible. However, slight variations in items may occur. You can find product information on LetsCookOutdoors.co.uk or by contacting our Customer Services via telephone or email. If there is anything you do not understand, or if you would like more information, please contact Customer Services.

 

All prices displayed are correct at the time of entry and are considered an "invitation to treat" under the law. You cannot insist that a retailer sells you an item at the marked price, even if an error has been made. By law, a retailer is entitled to set the price they wish to charge for their goods. The price offered for an item on the Let's Cook Outdoors website may differ from the price offered in our stores at the same time. We are not obliged to honour any in-store price or promotion if it differs from those on the Let's Cook Outdoors website.

 

If we have mistakenly under-priced an item, we are not obliged to supply it at the stated price, provided that we inform you before dispatch. In such cases, we will notify you of the correct price, and you can decide whether or not to proceed with the order. Should you decide not to purchase the item, we will issue a full refund for any amount already paid, in line with our refund policy.

 

Just as you are not obliged to buy goods from a retailer, a retailer is not obliged to sell anything to you.

 

Size descriptions of items may not always be completely accurate. We strive to provide accurate dimensions on our product pages, but they should be treated as a rough guide, as some variations may occur.

 

1.1 VAT

 

All prices are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

 

1.2 Flatpack

 

Unless otherwise stated, most of our products require some assembly. The scope of this will typically be explained on the product page; if you have any questions, please contact our customer service team for further information. Larger items such as BBQs and garden furniture are unlikely to arrive flat-packed. They will typically be delivered in large boxes (or multiple boxes) and/or on a pallet, with some assembly required.

 

At present, we do not offer any pre- or post-purchase assembly service. We are not obliged to provide this service, nor are we required to adjust our product prices to account for any additional costs should you choose to hire someone to assemble your items.

 

1.3 Remittance Terms

 

Please note that for administrative reasons, we cannot accept deposits or hold stock. Your credit or debit card will be charged in full at the time of order. If you place an order using PayPal, you will be redirected to PayPal, and the payment will be taken in full at the time of order. For BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later) purchases, the agreement will commence at the time of purchase, and you will be redirected to the relevant BNPL provider to finalise the arrangement before your order is completed.

 

2. Stock Availability

 

We strive to maintain sufficient stock levels wherever possible. If a product is despatched directly from a manufacturer, we may need to contact them first to confirm availability. If an item is out of stock, this will be indicated on the Let's Cook Outdoors website. If you place an order through our Customer Services by phone, email, or in-store, we will inform you of the item’s availability. If, for any reason beyond our control, we are unable to supply a particular item, we will not be liable to you beyond ensuring that you are promptly refunded for that item.

 

3. Site Registration

 

To purchase from the Let’s Cook Outdoors website, you can choose to set up a user account. This process is straightforward, allowing you to keep track of your purchases and ensuring a smooth buying experience.

 

You will need to provide a valid email address, which we will use to contact you, and create a secure password. We ask that you keep your password confidential, as our staff do not have access to view it. If you forget your password, you can easily reset it.

 

4. Delivery

 

At Let's Cook Outdoors, we believe delivery should be fast, simple, and hassle-free. Orders placed after Thursday afternoon, over the weekend, or on a Bank Holiday may experience slight delays as couriers do not operate standard services during these times. Once your order has been placed and despatched, you will receive a despatch email, which will include your delivery tracking number (where applicable).

 

4.1 Delivery to Mainland UK

 

Delivery pricing and schedules can be found on our Delivery page. Delivery will be carried out by a private courier service, based on the total weight or physical size of your order. Where possible, we will endeavour to ship all items in your order together, though this may not always be feasible, and you could receive multiple shipments.

 

4.2 Delivery to UK Highlands and Channel Islands

 

This includes the Scottish Highlands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, and Channel Islands. Delivery times for these orders may vary depending on the size and weight of the order. Orders to these locations may incur additional shipping charges, which you, as the purchaser, are liable for, regardless of the delivery terms for Mainland UK (specifically the Scottish Highlands). We will always attempt to deliver your order as quickly as possible, but due to the complexities of delivering to these areas, the advertised delivery timeframes may not always be met. 4.3 Delivery of Large or Bulky Products

 

Large or bulky items, such as certain barbecues, garden furniture sets, and oversized products, may require a specialised delivery service. If this applies to your order, the courier will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery day.

 

Deliveries will take place Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, and someone must be present to sign for the delivery. If you are unsure about a particular item, please contact us.

 

For particularly large or palletised items, delivery will be to "kerbside" only. Neither we nor the courier are obliged to carry your delivery up or down steps, through your home, or over difficult or unsafe terrain.

 

Once you have accepted delivery of your palletised item, neither we nor the courier are liable for any damage caused while moving the goods to their final destination after drop-off.

 

If no one is available to accept delivery of a pallet or bulky item on the agreed date, we reserve the right to charge for a re-delivery attempt.

4.6 Delivery during Busy Periods

 

We experience a significant increase in orders between April and July, as well as November and January. During these periods, all our services and suppliers operate at full capacity, which may occasionally result in slight delays in processing and despatching orders. We will do our best to keep you informed throughout the process.

 

Due to the added pressure on the supply chain during these times, the advertised delivery timeframes may not always be met, and we do not accept liability for any delays beyond the stated delivery window.

 

4.7 Next Day Delivery

 

You can contact us for a quote on next day delivery. However, this may not always be possible, and if it is, an additional charge will apply on top of your item purchase. There is no guarantee that the courier will be able to deliver the following day. Neither we nor the courier accept liability for the reimbursement of these costs if the agreed next-day delivery is not achieved.

 

4.8 Damage during Delivery

 

Occasionally, items may be damaged in transit. It is important to document any visible signs of damage before accepting a delivery (particularly for pallet deliveries) or before opening the box. If damage is reported after a reasonable period (180 days as stipulated by the Consumer Rights Act), Let's Cook Outdoors reserves the right to refuse a replacement or refund of the full purchase price. After 180 days, the burden of proof lies with you, the consumer, to demonstrate that the damage occurred within the first six months of delivery.

 

Before issuing a refund, we must be given the opportunity to repair or replace the damaged item, provided there is sufficient evidence of the damage.

 

5. Completed Orders and Payments

 

We accept Visa Debit, MasterCard, Visa Credit, UK Maestro, Switch, Visa Electron, AMEX, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal. If you are shopping from outside the UK or in a non-sterling currency, please place your order as usual, and your bank or card processor will convert the payment to your currency.

 

5.1 Back Orders

 

If your item is not in stock, we may be able to place a back order for you. Please contact our Customer Services for further details. If you have made a purchase on back order, you have the right to cancel your order, subject to our cancellation terms.

 

5.2 Tax

 

For orders placed from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT will be added. Customers in non-EU countries may be eligible for a VAT refund. Please contact us for further details.

 

5.3 Card Security

 

When you place an order on our website, hosted by WIX, all your payment details are processed securely throughWIX Payments. Your information is encrypted using 128-bit encryption and complies with PCI DSS standards.

Please be assured that no payment details are stored in clear text on our website or any associated systems, ensuring the highest level of security for your transactions.

 

6. Order Cancellation

 

You can cancel an order only if it has not yet been despatched. Once an item has been despatched in good faith, it will be treated as a return rather than a cancellation.

 

If you wish to cancel an order, please call us immediately (do not email). No charges will apply if the item has not yet been despatched.

 

If your item has been despatched and you wish to cancel, you will be responsible for the return costs. Please contact our customer services team for further details.

 

You also have a statutory right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days, starting from the day you receive the item.

 

7. Refund Policy

 

In cases where a refund is required, an investigation may be conducted. If the request is deemed valid, the refund will be processed as soon as possible.

 

Once your refund is issued, please allow 3-5 working days for the funds to appear in your account. We are not responsible for any costs or damages arising from delays in processing refunds beyond this timeframe.

 

8. Returns

 

When requesting a return, please have your full order details ready. Ensure the Returns Form is completed accurately to facilitate a swift refund process.

 

We do not offer free returns for unwanted items unless within an advertised free return period. Please review our returns policy for more information.

 

8.1 Unwanted Items & Returns

 

We offer a 30-day cooling-off period during which you can notify us of your intent to return items, followed by an additional 30 days to send them back to us. Refunds will be made to the same payment method used to place the order. Under the Consumer Rights Act, you have the legal right to reject goods that are of unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose, or not as described, and receive a full refund or exchange, provided you act within 30 days from the date of purchase.

 

If you wish to return unwanted goods beyond the 30-day cooling-off period, we may be able to grant an extended return period in certain circumstances, but we would always confirm this with you beforehand. Any return within or beyond the cooling-off period will incur a return fee, the amount of which will depend on the item purchased.

 

You are responsible for taking reasonable care of returned products. A refund may be withheld or a charge may be applied if the products are damaged due to neglect or improper handling. Please ensure that your return package is securely packed and sealed. We recommend using an insured parcel service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit. If you refuse an order at the point of delivery, we reserve the right to deduct shipping and restocking fees from any refund due. If these fees exceed the value of the item, you will not receive a refund.

 

If your goods arrive damaged, you must report this to us within 30 days, which is your cooling-off period. During this time, we will work with you to find a suitable resolution. If no resolution is acceptable, you have the right under the Consumer Rights Act to request a return and full refund at no additional cost.

 

8.2 Faulty Items

 

If you encounter a fault with an item, please contact Customer Services for assistance in arranging a refund or replacement. In most cases, we will ask you to take photos of the issue and email them to us.

 

At our discretion, we may require the faulty product to be collected before issuing any refund.

 

For any faults reported after a reasonable period (180 days, as stated under the Consumer Rights Act), Let's Cook Outdoors reserves the right to decline an outright replacement or refund of the full purchase price. After 180 days, the burden of proof rests with you, the consumer, to show that the fault was present within the first six months of delivery.

 

Before any refund is issued, if sufficient evidence is provided, we must be given the opportunity to repair or replace the item(s).

 

8.3 Exchanges

 

If you wish to exchange an unwanted item, you must do so within 30 days of receiving the goods. You will be responsible for return postage costs. The goods must be returned in their original condition and packaging, suitable for resale. Any additional charges or refunds will be processed at the point of despatch, provided we receive the tracking number for the returned item.

 

8.4 Incorrect Items

 

Occasionally, an incorrect item may be sent out. If this happens, please contact us immediately so we can arrange for a free returns label for small items or a courier collection for larger ones. We will then despatch the correct item at no extra cost to you.

 

This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

 

8.5 Free Returns Special Offer

 

From time to time, we may offer a free returns period. If this is the case, you must notify us within 15 days of despatch if you wish to return an item, and we must receive the item within 30 days of your order. Please contact us to obtain a free returns label, which will be emailed to you. You must be able to print this label to return the item.

 

For larger items, a courier collection may be arranged. We will ask you to provide a suitable weekday for collection (between 8am and 6pm).

 

8.6 Free Gifts

 

Occasionally, we may offer a free gift with certain purchases or when you spend a specified amount. If you decide to return the paid item, you must also return the free gift.

 

8.7 Voucher Codes / Discount Codes

 

We may offer discount or voucher codes for use on certain items or orders. These codes are typically valid for online transactions only and cannot be combined with other offers. We reserve the right to end or extend promotions at any time without notice. Codes must be applied during checkout and cannot be added after purchase.

 

We also reserve the right to cancel any order where a code has been applied due to technical errors or human mistake.

 

9. Guarantee

 

In addition to any standard manufacturer guarantees, we offer our own 30-day, no-quibble money-back guarantee. If, for any reason, you find the product unsuitable, please contact us within this period. You will be responsible for return postage costs. The product must be returned in its original condition and packaging, and be fit for resale.

 

10. Price-Match Guarantee

 

Let's Cook Outdoors strives to offer great value. If you find a better deal elsewhere (in stock and with free delivery), contact us, and we will aim to match the price.

 

This guarantee does not apply to products that are part of a special clearance or sale event at another retailer.

 

11. Privacy Policy

 

Let’s Cook Outdoors does not disclose buyers' information to third parties, except when necessary for order fulfilment or to collect review feedback. In these instances, the third party will not share any details with other third parties.

 

Cookies are used on this website to track the contents of your shopping cart, store delivery addresses (when the address book is used), and save your details if you select the ‘Remember Me’ option. Cookies are also utilised once you have logged in as part of that process.

 

If cookies are disabled, you will be unable to place orders or access certain features of the site that rely on cookies.

This limitation applies to any claims made under contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or other legal theories.

 

Since some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion or limitation of liability for certain types of damages, in such cases, our liability shall be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

General Terms

 

- Entrants must be 18 or over; we reserve the right to request proof of age from the winning entry. If the winner is under 18, the entry will be void, and a new winner will be selected.

- Entrants must reside within mainland UK.

- Giveaways will be free to enter.

- Promotional giveaway dates will be specified on the relevant social media, website, or showroom notice. Entries received after the specified date will not be counted.

- Only one entry per person is allowed; duplicate entries will be discarded, even if they are winning entries.

- By entering the giveaway, you consent to being contacted by Let’s Cook Outdoors or its representatives to confirm your winning entry and arrange prize delivery. If you are not contacted, your entry was not selected. You also agree that your entry data will only be used for the purposes of the giveaway.

 

Competitions are typically "guess the number" unless otherwise stated. The winner will be the one with the exact or closest guess. In the absence of an exact guess, we reserve the right to re-run the competition or select the closest entry.

 

In the event of multiple winning entries, a final draw will determine the winner. If the initial winner does not respond within 72 hours of our contact, we reserve the right to re-draw the winner or re-run the competition.

 

By entering the giveaway, you agree to all the rules stated. If you withdraw consent at any time, your entry will be invalidated.

 

For in-store giveaways, a signature may be required to confirm the validity of your entry.

 

Miscellaneous

 

Giveaways on social media are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta or other third-party platforms. Let’s Cook Outdoors operates all giveaways in accordance with the law.

 

Social media “likes” do not count as entries unless otherwise specified.

 

The giveaway prize will be an item available for purchase on our website or in-store. The listed RRP will apply.

 

Prizes cannot be returned for cash value. If your prize arrives damaged, we will replace the damaged item. The prize will come with a warranty as if purchased and will be valid from the date of delivery.
